Nicholas DeMoss serves as vice president and business banking relationship manager at PNC Bank, providing financial advice to small business owners to aid in their current success and future growth. In addition to excelling in his professional responsibilities, he plays a critical role in the continued prosperity and growth of the Peoria community as a whole.

As mentor and onboarding coach for new hires on PNC’s Central Illinois Business Banking team, DeMoss helped mentor four new team members over the last two years. As business banking intern mentor during the 2020 Summer Internship Program, he led one-on-one discussions multiple times a week, helping PNC interns make network connections, coaching on presentation delivery, and offering business and professional development advice.

As a champion of PNC’s Grow Up Great initiative, he helps lead efforts to deliver on the bank’s broad focus on early childhood education. He also served as central Illinois co-chair for PNC’s 2020 Women in Business Campaign, working closely with peers to help roll out the campaign, which provides resources, webinars and networking events, and helps connect female financial decision makers with organizations and individuals throughout the region.

A 2017 graduate of the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce Community Leadership School, DeMoss sits on PNC’s Diversity and Inclusion Council and has been nominated for multiple awards within the organization. He is also heavily involved with FamilyCore, serving as associate treasurer on the agency’s board of directors. In addition to chairing the Audit Committee at FamilyCore, he is a member of the Executive Committee and sits on both the Finance Committee and the Fundraising Committee. He is also a past board member and Finance Committee member of METEC Resource Center, which works with individuals and families across seven counties to help them become homeowners, learn new skills, access legal and financial support, and more. PM
