Since founding Rantisi Law LLC in 2017, Sharbel A. Rantisi has represented clients and their families in a range of areas, including family law, personal injury, criminal defense, estate planning and probate cases. Born and raised in Peoria, Rantisi is a 2007 graduate of Marquette University Law School and a member of the Peoria County Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association and the Criminal Justice Act Panel. Prior to opening his own practice, he spent time in the Peoria County State’s Attorney’s Office and was an attorney at Stephens, Fiddes, McGill & Associates. In addition to Illinois, he is licensed to practice law in Wisconsin and Iowa.
A two-time recipient of the Emerging Lawyer award in 2018 and 2019, Rantisi was also named among the “10 Best Attorneys for Criminal Law” for exceptional and outstanding client service by the American Institute of Criminal Law Attorneys in 2020. He is known for putting his clients first and leading from the front, demonstrating true commitment to those he serves in the justice system. He also volunteers time each year by taking on pro bono cases for those who cannot afford an attorney.
As a volunteer with the Male Mentor Monday program at George Washington Carver Community Center, Rantisi works to help young men in the Peoria area stay focused on their schooling and extracurricular activities while avoiding criminal activities. He is a former chair of the Young Lawyers Committee of the Peoria County Bar Association and a former member of the Young Professionals Organization of Greater Peoria, and has participated in the St. Jude Chicago to Peoria Run five times, raising money for the children of St. Jude.
