As chief enrollment officer at Bradley University, Justin A. Ball’s portfolio encompasses undergraduate admission and recruitment of freshmen and transfer students, student financial services, admissions operations and records, and all technologies associated with new undergraduate enrollment. He oversees multiple offices within the Division of Enrollment Management, where he led a strategic enrollment and recruitment plan that increased applications by 4.6 percent and enrollments by 15.7 percent.

Active within the Bradley community, Ball serves on the University Senate’s Strategic Planning Committee, Admission and Retention Committee, President’s Cabinet, Academic Council, General Education Revision Committee, and NCAA Ethnic Diversity in Athletics Committee, among others. His own extensive education includes a PhD from the University of Iowa and MBA from St. Ambrose University. He also serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Catholic Higher Education.

As an expert in recruitment and enrollment strategies, Ball has been invited to serve as a presenter at more than a dozen conferences and summits around the country. He is particularly active with the Illinois Association of College Admission Counseling and National Association for College Admission Counseling, promoting access and affordability in higher education. He is the author of two publications on related topics and a member of the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers, American Marketing Association, and Association for the Study of Higher Education.

A board member of the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce, Ball currently serves as board treasurer and chair of the Government Affairs Committee. He is also active on the board of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Illinois, where he serves on the Marketing Committee. A dedicated father, husband, and community volunteer, Ball is an usher at Redeemer Lutheran Church and a past member of the St. Ambrose University Alumni Association Board. PM
