40 Leaders Under Forty

As a leasing and marketing associate for Cullinan Properties, Kenneth Diana is responsible for providing key marketing and research support to the company and its affiliates, while assisting the leasing team with property renewals, showings and prospect outreach. Through the firm’s Kickstart Program, he works with entrepreneurs who are looking to relocate existing businesses or startups to storefront spaces in the Cullinan portfolio. Having worked his way up the ranks, he has become the company’s go-to source for all matters of research and analysis, from demographics to market trends and beyond.

A two-term member of the Board of Directors at Community Workshop & Training Center, Inc. (CWTC), Diana helps represent the interests of CWTC consumers while increasing community awareness of the organization and its vital programs and services for adults with disabilities. He previously served on the GENeration United Mad Dash Committee, helping to coordinate the event to raise money for the Heart of Illinois United Way. He also helped raise funds for the Dock Build at Push America (now known as The Ability Experience) so they could build fishing docks at Camp Big Sky, a camp in Fulton County that offers outdoor experiences for children and adults with disabilities.

Diana’s community focus started when he was still a student at Bradley University, volunteering for a service program to beautify the community and pick up trash in neighborhoods near campus. A graduate of the Pekin Chamber of Commerce Leadership School and the Peoria City/County Leadership Academy, he is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, working to advance the industry and promote its role in the commercial distribution of consumer goods and services. He is also a member of Peoria’s chapter of Business Network International (BNI), networking with fellow members and exchanging business contacts and ideas. PM
