You’ve heard of produce CSAs… but what if you could get a fresh bouquet of flowers every week? Kira Santiago of East Peoria is making that dream possible with the launch of her flower CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) this spring. Each week from June to October, members receive a large bouquet of fresh, local and organic flowers from Santiago’s 34 planted varieties. “You will have fresh, beautiful flowers in your home to feed your soul,” Santiago says, “and at the same time, you will be part of a positive change within the flower industry.”
The cost of a membership is $8.50/week, or $153, with convenient local pickups on Tuesday evenings around central Illinois. Discounted gift memberships are also available.
