A trustee for the Pekin Police Foundation, Wilson volunteers on the fundraising committee for its annual Blue Line Bash event. As a member of the Pekin Planning Commission, she helps the city adhere to zoning ordinances and address future planning issues. She is a graduate of the R. David Tebben Leadership Academy and currently chairs the Pekin Area Chamber’s Emerging Leaders Committee. She also served as a committee member, landscape architect and designer for Save James Field, raising money to renovate a dilapidated athletic field into a community park and open green space.
