R. Brandon Lott is a licensed professional civil engineer and senior project manager with Farnsworth Group, Inc., and currently manages the land development engineering section for the company’s Peoria consulting office. Lott has experience in resource evaluation, regulatory compliance and providing engineering solutions to enable the successful completion of both public and private projects. He has worked on the planning and design of groundwater wells, water treatment systems, stream restoration, wetland creation and site drainage, detention, and erosion control. He always works to provide client-first service and ensure that project goals are met.

Lott’s accomplishments in his career, in the community and in philanthropic ventures showcase the selflessness with which he works to benefit his colleagues, clients, neighbors, friends and fellow citizens. He is a member of the Illinois Groundwater Association, the Society of Wetland Scientists, American Society of Civil Engineers, and the Illinois Association of Stormwater and Floodplain Management, and a graduate of the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce Community Leadership School.

Lott received the 2009 Midwest Construction Award of Merit and a Merit Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies of Illinois. Not only is he a registered professional engineer, he is a certified floodplain manager and a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) accredited professional.

Lott also understands the importance of giving back to the community, volunteering with several local organizations. He is a board member for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s Greater Illinois Chapter, serves on the Walk MS 2009 Coordinating Council, and is a volunteer for the MS Illinois Carnivale and the City of Peoria Glen Oak Neighborhood Impact Zone Plan Survey. In the past, he has volunteered for the Advocates for Access March Madness Event, Lakeview Museum Engineers’ Day and the ASCE Canned Food Drive. He is a regular participant in South Side Mission’s Polar Dive for Cover and various annual fundraisers in support of the United Way, Goodwill Industries, Adopt a Family and the University of Illinois I-Fund. iBi
