Carolyn Weaver has spent the last 10 years as a financial advisor at Morgan Stanley, working to create a roadmap for her clients’ future and helping them manage complex financial affairs amidst ever-changing circumstances. In addition to a full spectrum of financial licenses, she is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), a designation held by just 20 percent of financial advisors across the country, and a member of the Master’s Club, ranking among the top 20 percent of Morgan Stanley advisors nationwide.

An avid runner, Weaver participated in the St. Jude Memphis to Peoria Run from 2008 to 2012, and in the St. Jude Chicago to Peoria Run since 2013. She has twice been among the top three fundraisers for the Chicago to Peoria Run, and this year, she served as co-coordinator and treasurer of the event. She also joined the American Brain Tumor Association 5K walk/run in honor of her father, who passed away after a battle with terminal brain cancer.

For more than five years, Weaver was an active volunteer for Heart of Illinois Big Brothers Big Sisters, serving on its board of directors from 2011 to 2015. The organization’s top individual donor, she was a long-time mentor to her “little sister” and has assisted with the Bowl for Kids’ Sake fundraiser for several years. She is also a past volunteer for Junior Achievement of Central Illinois, raising youth awareness about the importance of financial planning, and the Reading Buddies program for Peoria Public Schools.

A member of The Salvation Army’s William Booth Society and the Heart of Illinois United Way’s Tocqueville Society, Weaver is described as a leader with a heart of gold, whose boundless energy and compassion has had an impact on everyone she meets. Since welcoming twin girls into the world on New Year’s Eve, she has been a volunteer with the Peoria Mother of Twins organization. She also leads a small group Bible study in her home. iBi
