An attorney at Davis & Campbell LLC, Nicole D. Meyer focuses her practice in the area of commercial litigation, using her civil litigation experience to advise clients and prepare for their defense in administrative actions and state and federal lawsuits.

She previously served as director of Bradley University’s Pre-Law Center, where she hosted summer enrichment programs for high school students, coached the university’s Mock Trial Team, and advised more than 300 students and alumni. As Title IX coordinator, she worked to ensure the university stayed current in its policies and practices, and that faculty, staff and students were treated as equals in all aspects of their college careers.

Since 2012, Meyer has been active in the Junior League of Peoria (JLP), mentoring fellow members and assuming an array of leadership roles. As a member of the Peoria PlayHouse Committee, she was instrumental in bringing the children’s museum to Peoria. As chair of the Community Outreach Committee, she helped organize volunteer opportunities for members, hosting monthly service projects and teaching students the importance of healthy eating through the “Kids in the Kitchen” program. Having also chaired the Pair Up for Health 5K and served on the Ballance-Herschel House and Nominating committees, she now sits on JLP’s Governance Board, where she is helping to take the organization into the future.

In addition to her Junior League activities, Meyer has volunteered for the Pediatric Resource Center, St. Jude, PNC Worldwide Day of Play, and Loaves and Fish, a weekly feeding ministry at First United Methodist Church. She also sits on the Tenth Judicial Circuit Pro Bono Subcommittee and the Campaign Committee for Prairie State Legal Services.

Described as a modest, hard-working, natural leader, Meyer leads by example, always seeking to make her community a better place to live. iBi
