As assistant manager of the Hult Center for Healthy Living, Holly Bill leads a team of committed staff in achieving performance goals in the areas of health education, the client experience, safety and operational outcomes. Working with the executive director, she manages daily operations, business and program development, human resources, and the fiscal aspects of departmental operations.

As chair of the Center’s Mental Health Committee, Bill ensures students receive appropriate mental health guidance and counseling, and as chair of the Youth Education Committee, she makes sure that local school districts receive quality health education programming. She provides similar curriculum support as a member of the Central Illinois Wellness Council Reproductive Health Committee.

Since 2013, Bill has been a dedicated member of the Peoria Public Schools (PPS) Division of Adolescent Sexual Health (DASH) Committee, ensuring student access to sexual health education and services. She has been a key member in training health educators and social service agency representatives in the Family Life and Sexual Health (FLASH) curriculum, and a critical resource for the Youth Advisory Council, working with staff to provide sexual health awareness training to PPS students. She also assisted with efforts to open a new in-school health clinic at Peoria High School.

In addition to suicide prevention and anti-bullying initiatives, Bill shares her expertise on a range of boards and committees, including the Partnership for a Healthy Community Board; Heart of Illinois United Way’s Healthy Minds, Healthy Neighborhoods Committee; the Peoria Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition Youth Teen Summit Planning Subcommittee; the University of Illinois College of Medicine – HIV/AIDS Fiscal Advisory Committee; and the Heart of Illinois HIV Network Board for Peoria County.

Among her professional credentials, Bill is a Certified Health Education Specialist, a Certified CATCH (Coordinated Approach to Child Health) Implementation Trainer, and is Mental Health First Aid Certified. UnityPoint Health named her Employee of the Month in January 2017, and she was recognized by the American Civil Liberties Union of Illinois in 2016 for creating a sexual health education curriculum in Peoria Public Schools. iBi
