40 Leaders Under Forty

As a full-time real estate broker at RE/MAX Traders Unlimited, Jessica L. Ball works with buyers and sellers of residential and commercial real estate, assisting them in all matters of selling, buying and leasing real estate. Dedicated to her industry, she has been a member of the Peoria Area Association of REALTORS (PAAR) Governmental Affairs Committee since 2018, serving as vice chair in 2020, and is poised to chair the committee in 2021.

Ball has also served on PAAR’s Recognition Awards Task Force and the REALTORS Political Action Committee, helping to grow industry participation in the political process. As a member of PAAR’s Young REALTOR Professionals Committee, she worked to encourage her peers to get involved and give back to the profession and their community. Among her honors and distinctions, she was a featured panelist at the RE/MAX R4 International Convention earlier this year and recipient of PAAR’s Rookie of the Year Award in 2019, recognized for her commitment to the industry and her ability to connect with people.

A proud and engaged alumnus of Bradley University, Ball serves as a board member of the Braves Club and its Bid for the Braves Auction Committee, helping to raise funds for Bradley University Athletics. She was among the first volunteers in the area to get involved with Peoria’s new Ronald McDonald House, and her volunteer leadership led to her serving on the Engagement & Fundraising Committee for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Illinois.

Ball is an active member of Impact Central Illinois, a nonprofit women’s collective giving organization, as well as the BNI Peoria Power chapter of Business Network International, which she has served as education coordinator, vice president and president. She is an active member and volunteer at Redeemer Lutheran Church and earned her master’s degree from the University of Illinois – Springfield.PM
