40 Leaders Under Forty

Andrea L. Campbell is manager of the Aftermarket Customer Relationship Management and Lead Management program at Caterpillar Inc., facilitating communications and project delivery for executives, peers and dealers. Prior to this role, she served as global change manager, tech fair lead and global communications manager for eBusiness, bringing infectious energy and expertise in communications and change management to the company. She is known for empowering employees and leveraging their strengths to deliver substantial revenue, productivity and quality improvements.

In addition to her core work responsibilities, Campbell is a leader in the Women’s Initiative Network (WIN) at Caterpillar. As co-chair of International Women’s Day, her work resulted in thousands of employee pledges and a significant increase in social engagement. She also organized and led the WIN Interactive Workshop, orchestrating the half-day training for more than 70 employees across the globe.

A high-impact leader at Creve Coeur Christian Church, Campbell teaches Sunday School and recently reignited the church youth group, growing its membership from nine to nearly 40 teens in just over a year. She also led the group to collect over 200 gently used purses and personal care items for homeless women in conjunction with Phoenix Community Development Services, and helped lead the Sleep Out for Youth Homelessness event earlier this year.

Campbell leads a fundraising team for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation every year, in addition to supporting Fight the Fight Against Addiction and volunteering for the Brad Campbell Memorial Golf Tournament. Her past volunteerism includes a variety of efforts for youth spiritual retreats, raising money for Washington tornado relief, and supporting St. Jude in numerous capacities. She recently began work to establish a Peoria-area chapter of Sleep in Heavenly Peace, a program that creates opportunities for volunteers to make and deliver beds to families with children in need. She is also involved in fundraising for Midwest Food Bank’s new Haiti project. PM
