Logan Block devotes his practice primarily to civil litigation with an emphasis on defending physicians, nurses and hospitals in medical malpractice cases and defending municipalities and businesses in all manners of litigation. He provides representation in more than 20 Illinois counties, and Chicago-based Leading Lawyers has recognized him as an “Emerging Lawyer” in the areas of medical malpractice defense and general personal injury defense for two straight years.

Active with the Peoria County Bar Association, Block is vice chair of the Young Lawyer’s Committee and immediate past chair of the Fitness, Health and Wellness Committee. He has participated in speaking engagements for middle school students and organized the association’s annual blood drive to benefit the Red Cross in 2018.

As co-chair of YPGP’s Government Affairs Committee, he has created numerous opportunities for members to become involved in public service and public policy discussions. Besides organizing Peoria City Council candidate forums in 2017 and 2019, he is the creator and chief organizer of “YPGP Pizza, Pints and Politics,” bringing in elected officials to speak about issues affecting young professionals. As co-chair of YPGP’s Murray Baker Cultural Committee, he helps educate members about Peoria’s rich history and worked with the Peoria Historical Society to organize an historical bus tour.

Block sits on the Family House Board of Directors and was recently nominated to become board vice president and incoming president. Serving on the Philanthropy and Stewardship Committee, he helps organize fundraising events to ensure the success of the organization. He also serves on the Tribute to the Stars of St. Jude Gala Committee and previously served on the H.O.P.E.
