As marketing manager in the Global Aftermarket Solutions Division at Caterpillar Inc., Kristin Gaskill leads a team of analytics and marketing professionals to develop and supply prequalified sales leads to Caterpillar dealers around the world. By leveraging big data and commercial insights, this transformational effort has delivered over $60 million in aftermarket revenue and brought industry-leading improvements to the customer experience. She implemented agile and quality processes within the team to maximize productivity and ensure quality, and has engaged all levels in change management and training to drive execution of the new program. Under her leadership, the portfolio of lead offerings has grown for both the traditional sales channel and digital marketing initiatives.
Gaskill has led the way in advocating for improvements in diversity and inclusion within the company and with dealers. In 2018, she was selected to co-chair Caterpillar’s Women in Leadership Conference, which hosts speakers from across the globe to further that cause. She led more than 20 people to conceive and deliver the event, the success of which led to her selection as co-chair again in 2019. This year, she invited Girls Light Our Way (GLOW), a local robotics team and the Bradley women’s basketball team to experience the conference and hosted a special developmental session for the GLOW Girls to invest in their skills and self-confidence. Caterpillar has recognized her leadership many times in a string of honors, awards and invitations to participate in exclusive leadership development programs.
Gaskill served two terms as board secretary for EP!C, a Peoria area nonprofit for individuals with cognitive and physical disabilities, and she remains a current board member serving on the Operations Committee. A strong supporter of St. Jude, she helped establish a satellite St. Jude run for her hometown of Tremont in 2011 and continues as a runner in the annual event. She also serves as a teacher at Harvest Bible Chapel in East Peoria. PM
