As director of marketing and communication strategy at Tada Cognitive Solutions, Stephanie AlKhafaji is responsible for leading a team of content strategists, graphic designers, social media experts, videographers and copywriters to create, launch and execute compelling brand campaigns. In this role, she has repositioned the company’s brand and enhanced its online platform through a website redesign, user-centric functionality upgrades and targeted social media campaigns.
As a member of the Junior League of Peoria, AlKhafaji organized the first Kids in the Kitchen culinary program at Dream Center Peoria, providing underprivileged students the opportunity to learn healthy cooking skills. She created an original curriculum for the 10-week program and managed a team of volunteers to support each session. The effort was such a success that the Dream Center requested its continuation into their summer programming.
AlKhafaji serves on the board of directors for the Center for Prevention of Abuse (CFPA) and on its Diversity & Inclusion Outreach Subcommittee, ensuring the agency is engaging with diverse populations in the area. Some of its most notable successes include the translation of marketing and support collateral for patients, ensuring customer-facing assets are ADA-compatible, and having a stronger presence at cultural community events such as Pride and India Fest. She also serves on the Finance Committee which provides financial oversight for CFPA.
In addition, AlKhafaji volunteers her time and services to numerous local organizations, including Build Peoria, EP!C, Habitat for Humanity, ART Inc., the Rotary Club of Peoria and the Loaves & Fish program at First United Methodist Church. She regularly serves as a guest reader at Trewyn, Kellar and Charter Oak primary schools and is a member of the planning committee for the 2020 Women to Women Leadership Luncheon. PM
