Shelley Sharpe prepares monthly financial statements, coordinates the annual audit, and is the project manager for cross-departmental improvement plans at Risinger, an over-the-road freight transportation company located in Morton. Shelley was honored as the Risinger Brothers Transfer, Inc. Employee of the Year in 2016.

“Even in the highest stress situations, Shelley remains calm and gets the job done by staying organized and communicating effectively,” said her supervisor. “She truly is a pleasure to work with each and every day.”
Beyond that, she is a member of the board of Goodwill Industries of Central Illinois, where she helps oversee employment services, computer skill training, the General Wayne A. Downing Home for Veterans, and adolescent mentoring, while also raising funds for Goodwill’s annual Patriot Weekend events.” Our community, Goodwill and military veterans are better off because of Shelley Sharpe’s involvement,” said Don Johnson. In addition, she has done laudable work in planning and recruiting volunteers for the annual AMVETS Christmas Holiday Basket Drive for nearly 200 families. In 2017, she was honored by AMVETS Post #64 as the Associate of the Year.
