As corporate account manager and sales executive for Enterprise Holdings, one of the world’s largest transportation solutions providers, Monica Ray manages a multi-million dollar book of business throughout central Illinois while serving as a corporate consultant for Ground Transportation Solutions. She trains and mentors branch managers throughout Illinois and is a sought-after speaker at leadership events, manager summits and college sales programs.

Outside of work, Ray is devoted to the work of the American Red Cross, serving on the board of the Heart of America Blood Services Region from 2009 to 2013. She established the Red Cross Club at Bradley University and helped oversee the development of a similar club at Illinois State University. She created a blood drive partnership between the Red Cross and East Peoria High School, helped organize the “War on 74” blood drive between Bradley and ISU, and established a bone marrow drive at Bradley. Both Bradley and ISU have asked her to serve as a guest speaker on multiple occasions, and she volunteers regularly as a mentor to senior sales students and young females who have recently entered the professional world.

Ray currently sits on the Advisory Committee for the Emerging Philanthropists Fund, an initiative of the Community Foundation of Central Illinois, and has brought more than $40,000 to nonprofit organizations in the last five years by writing grants to the Enterprise Holdings Foundation. She also served as a co-captain of the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life for more than a decade.

Among her current volunteer duties, she supports the United Way, Eastern Illinois Foodbank, Midwest Food Bank, Children’s Home, The Baby Fold and Midwest Shiba Inu Rescue. She is also a volunteer and supporter of Puppy Rescue Mission, helping to transport animals found by the U.S. military in Afghanistan and bring them to the United States for adoption. iBi
