The Country Club of Peoria offers a new membership program for socially inclined Peorians.

Since its inception in the late 1800s, the Country Club of Peoria has been dedicated to meeting the various needs of its members. In the past, this led to the expansion of the nine-hole golf course. Completed in 1915, the new 18-hole course caused a spike in membership at that time. Fifteen years later, the members voiced the need for a pool, and the Club provided once again.

Throughout the decades, the Country Club of Peoria has upgraded its clubhouse and facilities to provide the best service to members. And as the demands of society continue to change, the Club progressively undergoes additional alterations.

While it once boasted the only golf course in Peoria, the Club now competes with numerous public and private courses across the region. In addition, the Club recognizes that the demands of society afford people fewer spare moments to play a round of golf. In light of these realities, the Country Club of Peoria is now offering a new package for prospective members.

The initiative includes a new membership program suited for those who are interested in the social aspects of Club life, but feel that they would not fully utilize the unlimited golfing featured in the premium package. With decreased membership fees and golfing privileges offered four times a year, the new Social Membership still showcases the many benefits the Club has to offer.

Individuals opting for the new membership can utilize the swimming pool, fitness center, tennis courts and various facilities the 27-acre Club has to offer. There are three main dining rooms as well as the Terrace, where members can enjoy the breathtaking view of the Illinois River.
