On Saturday, October 4th, Mood Indigo—one of the city’s most outstanding
cultural events—returns by popular demand!

Celebrate the golden age of radio at the Contemporary Art Center, as the Preston
Jackson Gallery is transformed into an early 20th century broadcast station.

It will be a fabulous evening of live entertainment, delicious food and amazing drinks, with attendees dressed in period clothing. Enjoy the live jump/blues and swing music of Champaign’s Bruiser & the Virtues, with special appearances by legendary singers Sarah Vaughn and Bessie Smith, portrayed
by Judy Page and Sherrie Harvey, respectively.
The maestro John Philips will accompany these two lady legends on piano.

TV personality Garry Moore returns again this year to serve as master of ceremonies. There will be skits, a signature drink—concocted especially for the evening, decorative
glasses, an art auction and lots of fun surprises. You won’t want to miss one of the most unique events in central Illinois! a&s
