An experienced architectural project manager for Farnsworth Group, Kayse L. Doering specializes in educational, corporate, multi-family housing and recreation clients, and manages projects from concept through construction, serving as the key interface between the project team and the client. She mentors younger staff and is a champion for her clients, helping them navigate the often complex world of state-of-the-art facilities.

Doering has performed nearly every task associated with her profession, leading multidisciplinary teams on a range of multi-million dollar projects. She was project manager for the new Glen Oak School and led the renovation and expansion of Peoria’s historic Central High School. She assists school districts throughout the state in assessing their facilities’ safety, and has led projects for Quest Charter Academy, Peoria Housing Authority, Peoria Opportunities Foundation and Richwoods Christian Church.

From schools and churches to social agencies and recreation areas, Doering’s impact can be witnessed around the region. She is a role model for young women in her profession, encouraging participation in STEM programs and careers in architecture, engineering and construction, and regularly hosts high school students and interns, providing hands-on experience in her field.

Doering is a youth group leader at New Castle Bible Church, where she also serves on the building committee. She has been a regular participant in Junior Achievement since 2007, and has worked with third-grade students in the District 150 Reading Buddies program at Northmoor Primary School for the last two years. She has also participated in the Paws to Read summer reading program and is a strong supporter of St. Jude, helping to organize numerous fundraisers for the central Illinois affiliate.

A graduate of the Pekin Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership Academy, Doering has previously been involved with Expanding Your Horizons, the Peoria Art Guild and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Peoria. She is a member of the National Association of Women in Construction, the Construction Specifications Institute and the American Institute of Architects, taking an active role in the local chapter. iBi
