iBi’s Local Legends program began in 2013 as a way to honor the legendary figures of our region—those who have had a lifetime of impact on the Greater Peoria area. That year, we held a small reception for family and friends to thank those individuals for their continued leadership. With the positive feedback we received from both honorees and attendees, the event grew in 2014 and 2015, and now again in 2016.

On Thursday, July 7th, Peoria Magazines will honor the six individuals featured in this issue. The 2016 Local Legends Reception will take place at the Country Club of Peoria. A limited number of tickets are now available… visit to register today!
