Micah LeMoine is a financial advisor and director of internship development at Northwestern Mutual Greater Peoria, guiding interns through the company’s personalized planning process, as well as their planning and execution of a major fundraiser for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, raising money for childhood cancer research. Under his leadership, the firm’s local college program ranked 10th nationally within Northwestern Mutual in 2016, a record ranking for the Peoria program.

Demonstrating integrity and a passion for personal growth, LeMoine earned his way into LEAD, a leadership development program at corporate headquarters, completing the program with honors. As a financial advisor, he has earned the annual Pace Setter 40 Ribbon, an award given to the top six percent of new financial advisors at the firm. He has received numerous other awards for his work at Northwestern Mutual, including having placed insurance policies that covered 150 lives in 2017—an accomplishment achieved by only two other reps in the regional agency. For the last two years, he was recognized as a College Conversion Leader for his success converting interns into full-time financial advisors. In 2017, he received the Life Impact Award for sales goals and was the youngest among the agency’s top 10 financial advisors.

Outside of the office, LeMoine donates his time and treasure to the community in myriad ways. Serving on the Emerging Philanthropists board for the Community Foundation of Central Illinois, he helps determine grant finalists and recruit new members. He has also supported the DAX Locke Foundation, volunteered for South Side Mission, and served as a mentor for Bradley University students while on the Board of Advisors of the Financial Management Association.

In addition, Le-Moine has coached several tennis camps for kids, teens and adults and served as head tennis consultant for the Peoria Area Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He is a 2014 graduate of the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce Community Leadership School. iBi
