Provides the aspiring business owner education and training in the fundamentals of operating a successful business. Instruction includes business planning, development and finances. The aspiring owner will walk away with the confidence a good business foundation provides. Classes will be conducted by an individual with academic or professional experience in the subject matter.
IT Workforce Development
Classes offering a national certification opportunity have been specifically developed for those who want to pursue an understanding in PC compatibility and functionality, along with an understanding of technology topics such as software installation and deployment, basic networking, security risks and their prevention, laptop and PC hardware, and the configuration of mobile and computer operating systems. National examinations are included with this training.
Designed to increase the business acumen of small contractors. Using subject matter experts in construction, participants will be trained in managing a profitable business operation. In addition, they will gain real-world appreciation and network with companies that have work opportunities available.
How to Help
Primary support comes from local individuals, small businesses, and corporations in support of programming that is advancing the economic potential of the minority community. All donations are tax deductible.
