Mission
The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

Vision
The Boy Scouts of America will prepare every eligible youth in America to become a responsible, participating citizen and leader who is guided by the Scout Oath and Law.

Scout Oath

The W. D. Boyce Council, Boy Scouts of America covers a majority of central Illinois, from Lincoln to Ottawa, and Peoria to Bloomington. More than 5,000 kids are served across the region.

The Council includes 14 counties and is divided up into four areas: Bloomington/Normal, Peoria, LaSalle/Peru and East Peoria/Morton/Washington. Services Provided: Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturing, Exploring/Work Force Development, ScoutReach, camping and activities for Scouts and their parents.

How to Help
