However, to truly find the best rates, you need to take a significant amount of time, and even then, you may not be sure you've gotten the best rates. Most travel agencies now have software on their reservation systems that instantly searches dozens of air and hotel booking engines. They can also provide travel expertise and assist you during your travel.

Also, if you live in the area and travel to another airport, how much time are you investing in your transportation just to get to the airport? Is there a parking free? As the price of gas continues to climb, you need to factor all your true costs when choosing an airport for your travel needs.
